Clinical pearls from this deck
- A baby who loses a skill has a diagnosis, always. Ask what the mother eats before you order anything.
- He is eating plenty and getting little. In a toddler, bulk and energy are not the same thing.
- Ask which salt they buy. The expensive unrefined kind is the one without the iodine in it.
- They are going to do it either way. The only question is whether they do it with your advice or without it.
- Remove the rule that does nothing, so she keeps following the ones that do.
- The crying stops at four months whatever she eats. What the exclusions reliably do is end the breastfeeding.
Work through the deck once for recognition, then again a week later to test yourself — each question gives the answer and explains why every other option fails.
