Clinical pearls from this deck
- Angulation in the plane of movement remodels. That is the one that forgives.
- Rotation never remodels. Angulation often does.
- Remodelling is growth. Count the years left, not the centimetres.
- A child sprains less readily than the growth plate separates. Treat the tenderness.
- A line through the plate and into the joint risks growth and surface at once.
- A tethered growth plate hurts nobody. That is exactly why it is looked for.
Work through the deck once for recognition, then again a week later to test yourself — each question gives the answer and explains why every other option fails.
